80 Days to go.....
I've got an ear ache, I didn't sleep worth a shit last night, fatigue sucks, my skin itches and stings.....and between all of that and Ribavirin topping it off, I am back to wanting to sit on the floor and cry.
Not a good way to start Friday off.

Life and times of Dealing with a Dragon named Hep C
I found that Hep C has a nick name.
The Sleeping Dragon.
It's fitting.... Strange thing is that I've always loved Dragons.
I guess I never could have imagined that I'd have one of my own.

- I'm a 42 year old Mother of 5. 3 of my own and 2 of my Husbands. My 3 are 13, 17 and 21. His are 22 and 26. We have 3 boys and 2 girls. In my life I've had 17 surgeries, a tatoo and a blood transfussion. So your guess is as good as mine as to where I contracted Hep C. I do not believe it was from the tat. The gentleman that did the art was very careful with sterile tools. But who knows. I was diagnosed with Hep C on March 22, 2007. Geno type 1b with a viral load of almost 5 million. And now I turn the corner and yet a new path lay ahead of me...... A new Journey begins

Laurie hang in there you are almost done. I have execema as well as still coming off the drugs and I get alot of hair & scalp oil from CVS in the section for African American people. Have been using African Hot Six Oil on everything from my head, hair, ears,and body and I love it. Just have to be very careful getting out of the tub, it's slippery. I hope tonights shot is somewhat easier on you. Sounds like you could use a break for a bit. I hope you get it. I think of you often and wish you all the best! Rosie

Good Morning Laurie, I am so sorry about the earache and of course everything else, the list just seems to grow and grow. Every time I think I have had all the side effects another pops up.
Rosie is right about the oil, we use the African Hot 6 oil and it works great. My husband has very dry hair and uses it for that, it is good for alot of different problems. Great idea Rosie, wish I had thought of it

Dear Laurie, I found the greatest scarves, sold on Ebay, seller Bald Attitude....., found it while searching chemo alopecia scarves/caps. I got the scarf yesterday fits like a dream and it is cool. The lady who makes them had alopecia and her daughter cancer and they could not find anything they could afford so they made their own.
I am sorry to hear your ear is still bothering you

I am watching an ear ache myself, numbers have dropped again so will call the doc tomorrow.
