I spoke to Sandy the research nurse yesterday. She said that she has to work up the appointments so that blood work is completed in 2 days and that with the Holidays it's impossible for that to happen because the labs will be closed for Monday and Tuesday.
She'll be calling me in between Christmas and the New Year with an appointment for after New Years. She has to get the date that everyone can be there...Dr. Smith for the physical, Lab for the blood work, tech for an Echo cardiogram, and herself for the paperwork that she has to go over with me.
So at least I know that I'm waiting for a new date.

I found that Hep C has a nick name.
The Sleeping Dragon.
It's fitting.... Strange thing is that I've always loved Dragons.
I guess I never could have imagined that I'd have one of my own.

- I'm a 42 year old Mother of 5. 3 of my own and 2 of my Husbands. My 3 are 13, 17 and 21. His are 22 and 26. We have 3 boys and 2 girls. In my life I've had 17 surgeries, a tatoo and a blood transfussion. So your guess is as good as mine as to where I contracted Hep C. I do not believe it was from the tat. The gentleman that did the art was very careful with sterile tools. But who knows. I was diagnosed with Hep C on March 22, 2007. Geno type 1b with a viral load of almost 5 million. And now I turn the corner and yet a new path lay ahead of me...... A new Journey begins

Happy Holidays Laurie and Jim. Dont' worry you will be on Pega and Ribo (however you spell these drugs), soon enough. THen you will be like TL, whining when will it end...
Enjoy the Holidays, the New Year will be here before you know it and everything will fall into place.
Just relax, beautiful. You will get your portion of that poison and I hope they will make you feel stronger.
